Caramel Apple Pudding Cake

Ingredients:
 
5-6 peeled, cored, and thinly sliced apples
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1 cup flour
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup milk
2 Tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup caramel sauce*



Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease a 2 quart square baking dish. Place apple slices in the dish. Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg on the apples. In a large bowl, mix together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, milk, butter, and vanilla. Spread the batter over the apples. Drizzle the caramel sauce on top of the batter. Bake for 35 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
