Dragon Tails

Today, I decided to try a recipe that I have not done in many years. I made Dragon Tails! Well, sort of. Since these will be eaten by children, I did not add as many meatballs and therefore the tails are not as long as they could potentially be. So maybe I should call today's cooking adventure Dragon Stubs?

Ingredients needed:

Bread dough
Meatballs
Cheddar and/or Mozzarella Cheese

Directions:
1) Stretch out the dough about 3 feet long.
2) Roll out the dough about 4 inches wide.
3) Divide the long pieces into thirds (about 1 foot long each)
4) Place meatballs on the dough and sprinkle the cheese sparingly
5) Fold the dough over and seal.
6) Bake per the instructions for the bread dough

To watch the video of how I made them, please click here to view the video.

For the bread dough, if you are having difficulties getting the bread to seal, stick your finger tip in water and run it along the edge of the bread to help it seal better.

Also, regarding the bread dough, Kroger sells 5 frozen loaves in a bag for about $5. Therefore, you can get 15 Dragon Tails out of the loaves if they are divided into thirds.
